Kaizen Training For MCFL’sPg 1 Anthony International Status: -Very profitable manufacturer of cooler doors, owned by Aurora Capital -Contracted to build Lean Continuous Improvement program starting Jan. 1 st -Values stream analysis of enterprise w/ future map -Conduct three kaizen in each key area -Train internal lean resources to be self-sufficient Next steps: -Schedule resources and begin assessment -Visit Aurora Capital Key success learning's: -Pushing continuous improvement program instead of lean/ Six sigma works well

Kaizen Training For MCFL’sPg 5 Overview: - $2.1Billion in Sales - 10,000 employees - Publisher of children’s books and educational materials - Largest operator of children’s book clubs/fairs in US - Own Harry Potter series in NA SSA Work to Date: - $150K in 2005 - Deployment started in Jefferson City, MO and has CEO/CFO attention - Deployment expanded to NYC area - Trained one wave of Greenbelt in 2005 - Mentoring 12 GB in Jefferson City and 12 in NYC area

Kaizen Training For MCFL’sPg 6 SSA Potential in 2006: -Need to have a discussion re: future deployment by end of 2/06 -Potential volume of $75-200K for 2006 Next Steps -Identify Gold Belt candidates -Conduct another wave of Green Belt in 2006 -Confirm Mentoring assignments and Deployment Meeting Key learning's -Need to get management buy in for deployment in NYC -Need to set up key deployment elements -Help them set up a strong deployment plan – they have put their “toe in the water” now it is time to get serious

Kaizen Training For MCFL’sPg 7 UST Status -Contracted to send three members to Gold Belt, executive training, champion training, deployment consulting and Green Belt wave plus mentoring -Completed pre-deployment, other training in December and January -If successful they will start a full Company deployment Next Steps -Complete training and projects Key learning’s -Gold belt is a great tool to get into start up programs
