QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

What is the difference in Holy Ghost & Holy Spirit? Only a difference is in translation. Holy Ghost meant “Holy Guest” in 1611 which is based upon the indwelling of the 3 rd person of the Godhead (2 Tim. 1:14; Rom. 8:11)

If you have your hands on the plow & turn away are you not forgiven? “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God” (Lk. 9:62) See context---Lk. 9:57-62 Passage is not talking about being saved and then falling away. It is rather talking about serving God wholeheartedly (Mt. 22:37; Mt. 6:33; Eccl. 12:13)

Falling Away “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace” (Gal. 5:4) There is a difference between those who yield to sin in weakness and those who willfully abandon the faith altogether….Heb. 6:1-6; 1 Jn. 1:6-10; 2 Thess. 2:10-12

How can we sin against Christ and get forgiveness but sin against Holy Spirit and not be forgiven? Mt. 12:31,32 Sin against the Holy Spirit is rejection of inspiration. All people have sinned against Christ (Rom. 3:23) and can be forgiven if they “receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls” (Jm. 1:21)…..but if any reject the Word of God they cannot become “wise unto salvation” (2 Tim. 3:15).

Prayers of righteousness man, can he pray for others and if he has sins can they be forgiven? Jm. 5:16 “For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord are against them that do evil.” (1 Pet. 3:12) What determines righteousness? Ps. 119:1721 Jn. 3:22-24 Lk. 1:6; Job 1:1
