Today: Constitutional Framework - How 5 Elements of the Constitution Establishes the Rule of Law and Protects Us

2 Activity: I will assign you into a group of 4 people. Appoint a speaker, manager, timekeeper, and a recorder Each group will be responsible for explaining one of the following constitutional ideas. You should also try to come up with an example of this idea in action. These can be found on page 15-16 of your text 1. Limited government 2. Separation of powers 3. Checks and balances 4. Judicial review 5. Federalism How 5 Elements of the Constitution Establishes the Rule of Law and Protects Us

3 Assignment: 15 Points (Due Tomorrow) For each of the 5 Constitutional ideas, explain briefly what it is and give one example of that idea in action. In one sentence, what do you think is the main goal of these 5 Constitutional ideas? You can probably get this done now!
