3. 1.Definition of hazardous waste A Hazardous waste is waste that has a potential threats to public health or the environment. The remnants of the various activities and operations or ashes preserved the properties of hazardous substances that have no subsequent original uses, such as clinical waste, and waste resulting from the manufacture of any of pharmaceuticals and drugs, solvents or inks, and Paints. Sources of hazardous waste: Domestic activities - agricultural - commercial - industrial. – زراعية – تجارية – صناعية.

4. Improper management of industrial plants.. May lead to the presence of hazardous waste.... have a detrimental effect on health and the environment. So, there is a need for actions to be taken during the various stages of wastes generation to get rid of them.

6. Solid, Liquid, and Gas Waste Categories Cement Dust Waste: The solid waste resulting from the manufacturing of cement and related products. This does not include the processing and storage facilities for such waste. Construction Waste: Solid and liquid waste resulting from the construction of new buildings or the demolition of old ones. This does not include the processing and storage facilities for such waste.

7. Industrial Waste: All solid, liquid, and gaseous waste resulting from the manufacture of goods. Medical Waste: All solid, liquid, and gaseous waste resulting from the treatment of illness and trauma. This includes the waste produced by all hospitals and clinics. This does not include waste resulting from the manufacture of pharmacuetical, drugs, and medical supplies, which falls under Industrial Waste.

This includes all trash and garbage collected from areas of human habitation. This includes all junk durable goods, such as cars, washing machines, etc

10. Oil and Gas Waste: All solid, liquid, and gaseous waste resulting from the discovery, extraction, and processing of oil and natural gas. This includes drilling wastes. This does not include the processing and storage facilities for such waste.
