The Definition in the dictionary is: Gold: a precious yellow metallic element The internet tells me: Gold is a soft, shiny, yellow metal that is very rare. It can be found near a bend of a river or underground in a mine. It can usually be found in quartz. Some people believe that gold is the earliest metal found because it was in tombs and artifacts back in early civilizations.

One of the uses of gold is jewellery. Lot of jewellery today is made of gold. It may be Rose Gold or White Gold. Some gold salts are used in medicine as they have anti- inflammatory properties. Some Gold Flakes are use in high class restaurants to make dishes look fancy. Gold is used for many thing today and here are just a few of them.

Yes there are different types of gold, and here are just a few of them. Red Gold or Rose Gold looks like a polish copper. It has a pink colour which makes it look a rose colour. Silver Gold or White Gold has a greyish colour with a touch of yellow.

Law and order on the goldfields was ok, many said that is was poor. In later years it became better as more people were moving to mine or pan for gold. As more bushrangers came to the goldfields Law and Order was more tight. Many people were fined using the gold they had found.

Bushrangers were everywhere on the goldfields, in some ways bushrangers were useful. They kept police on their toes and gave them a job. But sometimes the weren't useful most of the time they would hide in bushes or behind trees then someone would come past with a bag of gold and they would jump out in front of them and steal the bag of gold.

Thanks For Watching

Where you questions useful? Yes I believe my questions were useful because it gives you an idea on what path you are taking and how your PowerPoint is going to be formed. Do you feel confident finding and using relevant information? In a way because sometimes there is no information on that topic, but on the other hand there can be loads of information on the topic. It is also good how we change the information into our own words so we can have a better understanding of the subject. What new knowledge and skills did you learn? During this project I did not learn that much as I try to keep is to what I know. For the knowledge side of things I learnt a lot of information, like that bushranger played an important part on the goldfields.

What would you change if you did this again? Although I am so happy with my project I would maybe change the format that I did my project, and maybe try to make it more interesting. What were your research’s strengths and weaknesses? Strengths: I think my strengths were that I was able to understand the topic with the help of five questions, and being able to find pictures using Google. Weaknesses: Because Law and Order on the goldfields is not a topic that has a lot of information it was hard to find information.
