3. Specifications v6ops DRAFT outlining IPv6 CPE requirements is progressing – draft-ietf-v6ops-ipv6-cpe-router-02 Phased approach at defining IPv6 requirements – Represents requirements across different types of providers – Phase I is underway; Phase II is forthcoming

Objectives Goal is to ensure that IPv6 CPE requirements are comprehensive – Provide additional feedback to v6ops as needed Potential HOMEGATE areas of work: – Best practices – ISP/network deployment considerations and models – Home network deployment considerations and models – Dual-stack operation recommendations – Security recommendations – DNS and DHCPv6 considerations
