Payments Trips costs 537.00 for Quad All payments are due feb 9. A Feb 15 extension is allowed ONLY IF the student has paid 400.00. If two or more are from one family then one student must be paid in full by Feb. 9 th. A Student is dropped from the trip if payment is not made in full by Feb. 15.

Chaperone Expectations Check to see if they are awake and do room check at night. Make sure the room gets looked over upon check-in for any damage Check that all personal articles are out of the room upon check-out. They will make sure their students check in with them a couple of times during the day - usually via text. No alcohol allowed. Adults who smoke will do so discreetly and in designated area. If you have chosen to NOT ride with us on the bus we will also NOT provide hotel, meals, or tickets. Please also be aware that we will not make accommodations for you in our schedules. Priority is given to those adults who are serving as chaperone.

Expectations Each student and chaperone will be assigned to a specific director/sponsor. If a chaperone has a concern they are to go to their director who will confer with the other directors to make a decision. Directors will primarily handle the needs to the group as a whole and make decisions for the best interest of the group.

LUGGAGE: What to Bring: Money for souvenirs & additional activites $5 per bus rider for driver tip Clothing for all activities (review guidelines on previous page) Toiletries Plastic bag for wet clothing Comfortable shoes Camera SUNSCREEN! You will need it! Sunglasses Rain coat snack food (non perishable) Do not over pack. The busses are full and there will not be any extra room! Lay out clothing prior to packing and bring only what is necessary. Talk to your rooming ‘buddy’ and share certain items to save room. What NOT to Bring: Anything that cannot be replaced Valuable items Laptop Things that you DO NOT NEED! Music that is explicit in theme or contains profanity Movies that are rated PG 13 or above Tobacco Alcohol/Drugs Fireworks Matches/Lighters Confetti/Silly String Weapons Clothing that does not meet the guidelines

Luggage LUGGAGE INSEPCTION: All trip participants need to have their luggage and all carry on items by the charter busses BY 4:45 Wednesday, March 11. All bags need to be open and ready for inspection. LOADING LUGGAGE: It is your responsibility to carry and load your own luggage. If you cannot carry it, do not bring it. When loading luggage under the bus, it should be loaded neatly and pushed towards the center of the loading compartments. CARRY ON LUGGAGE: Again, the bus is full. Everyone will have a seat partner and all carry on bags must fit in the overhead bins. SAVING ROOM: Everyone will be heading home with some sort of souvenirs...you need to save room in your luggage for these items!

Attire/Weather PERFORMANCE ATTIRE – Students should have formal choir attire (and ALL PARTS) packed and ready to go- section leaders will check for this. POOL - if you are brave enough to get wet...swimsuits need to be age appropriate as well as school trip appropriate. Bikinis are not going to be forbidden, but you are asked to show a sense of modesty. Tankinis would be the preferred two piece swimsuit option. BUS ATTIRE - you may bring pajama pants to wear on the bus during our overnight travel, but again, you are asked to be modest. You will need to change at our first morning stop. Layers are also very smart. The temperature is set for the driver, not us. ALL OTHER ACTIVITIES – Wear clothes that you can wear on “dress down” days at MHS. We are trying to get shirts for each day and are seeking sponsors so that we do not have to charge the students for these costs. If a shirt is provided, students are REQUIRED to wear them. Weather- –Be prepared for rain...it rains almost daily around noon time for about 10-15 minutes and will then dry up, but you may get caught in a downpour! –Shoes will need to be for comfort, not cute-ness! –Check the internet as the trip approaches for the highs, lows, & chances or weather!

Trip guidelines You are representing so many people. Be certain that you are always acting in a way that will be viewed positively by others. Treat others the way you want to be treated- you will be overtired and grouchy. Do not allow this to ‘spill out’ onto others! All adults are to be treated with the utmost respect There are NO COUPLES on this trip. Budget your money. Look at the activities and decide what you can spend. A good method is to have an envelope for each day. Put the designated amount in each envelope. Once it is gone, quit spending. If you have left over at the end of the day, it can be applied to the next day’s envelope! We will provide several meals so students really only need money for souvenirs and snacks. Do not loan money. No smoking! Chaperones that smoke will need to do so at scheduled stops & away from the group. NO TALKING when we are participating in an activity with a host or tour guide.

Bus Guidelines Treat others the way you want to be treated- you will be overtired and grouchy. Do not allow this to ‘spill out’ onto others! All adults are to be treated with the utmost respect There are NO COUPLES on this trip. Do not loan money. NO TALKING when we are participating in an activity with a host or tour guide. The seat you signed up for is your seat for the duration of the trip The restroom on board is for your use but we will try to make stops. Drinks must have tops that screw on

Bus Expectations Food must be in reseal-able containers or consumed in one sitting If you drop or spill something, clean it up. All garbage should be thrown away. Do not throw away drinks prior to emptying the contents into the sink in the restroom. All electronic noise-making devices should have headphones Quiet hours on the bus are from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM...this includes headphones! Movies are permitted, but must be rated G or PG. Movies will only be viewed during the long bus rides to and from Florida, but not during quiet hours.

Hotel guidelines Do not remove anything from the hotel room that you did not take into the hotel room. If something is damaged or removed from the room, all people in that room will be responsible for paying the replacement/repair charges. Remember that we are not the only people in the hotel. Quiet hours in the hotel are from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. This means that you should be speaking in whispered voices, doors should be opened and closed quietly, and loud noises should be avoided. Be respectful of your roommates. Plan out morning routines. Keep your room tidy to eliminate losing possessions and to utilize the small space Curfew is when you are to be in your hotel room for the night. No exceptions!

Disney Park Guidelines You must remain in groups of 4 or more. Check in points/times will be established- we will clarify if it is a text or a visual check in. Lockers are available for a fee. All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a mature & responsible manner during their visit. Any unsafe or disruptive behavior will result in dismissal from the park without a refund. Know that Disney security and police will trump MPSD personnel.

Disney Park Guidelines Profanity is not tolerated and can result in removal from the park without a refund. Line jumping is expressly prohibited & may also result in dismissal from the park without a refund. Be aware that Disney security will report any illegal activity directly to Orange County Sheriffs Department. No outside food or drinks are permitted in the park. All bags, backpacks, or packages are subject to inspection prior to entering the park. Apply sunscreen several times throughout the day. It is miserable to be on a trip with sunburn. Stay hydrated.
