EVITherM Industrial Aspects WP3 - - - Tasks 3.0 and 3.1 WP1 - - - Task 1.2 Paul Nesvadba, RGU, Aberdeen, UK Meeting at IMGC Torino, 22 April 2003 Review of Workpackages and Tasks Analysis of Responses to Questionnaire

WP 3 To enable EVITherM to transfer knowledge to meet the needs of Industry and communicate effectively to different regions.

Task 3.0 Identify and define relevant industry sectors Responsible: RGU, PLG

Task 3.0 months 1 to 6 To identify and define relevant industry sectors with interests in thermal metrology To create a forum To review how these industrial sectors in Europe can be divided into regions to facilitate the best level of communication and to determine how EVITherM can best service the needs of knowledge transfer to and from them.

Task 3.1 - months 3 to 9. To compile a list of the specific information needs relevant to each industrial sector.

Deliverables D15 Month 4 T3.1 Rep D3.0 List of Industry Sectors D16 Month 9 T3.1 Rep D3.1 Needs of Industry Sectors

WP3 deliverables amd milestones D3.0 List of industry sectors relevant to thermal metrology, month 4 D3.1 Report on the information required from the VI by each industry sector, month 9 D3.2 Report defining the regions identified to enable the VI to communicate effectively with industry, month 9 D3.3 Report defining the form and content of the regional platforms, month 12 D3.4 Set of approved and reviewed data and articles for phased insertion into the regional platforms – Phased across period months 12 to 30* D3.5 Set of approved and reviewed data, articles and training materials for phased insertion into the live EVITherm web site - Phased across period months 12 to 30* M3.0 Publish analysis of needs of industry sectors for thermal metrology information, month 9 M3.1 Definition of regions across Europe to enable effective communication of the VI, month 9 M3.2 Formulation of content of regional platforms, month 12 M3.3 Phased completion of approved regional data and text inputs, months 12 to 30* M3.4 Phased completion of appr. data and text inputs on training, months 12 to 30*

Task 1.2 To establish effective representation To develop appropriate communication mechanisms with a broad range of industrial participants To gain feedback on all aspects of EVITherM Manage Industrial Feedback.
