1 Rock, Paper, Scissors Review Capitalism 1.Private ownership of industry (you started with your own candy) 2.Freedom of competition (you played rock, paper, scissors) 3.Unequal economic classes (some of you won, most lost) Why would the Church challenge this system?

2 Rock, Paper, Scissors, Review Socialism 1.Government ownership of industry (I required you to give away your candy to students who had little or none) 2.Classless society (eventually, you all had the same amount of candy) Why would the Church challenge this system?

3 So, then, what system does the Church call us to observe?

9 Taxes Taxes are a necessary aspect of any society. What would you say is the American attitude toward taxes? If you believed strongly that an increase in taxes would benefit people at the lowest rung of the economic ladder, would you support the tax increase? How are people who are poor affected by the creation, sales and advertising of goods and services in the world?
