9.  Smarter Balanced and ACT Suite DPI Budget Request Provide funding to schools to implement ACT Suite and Next Generation Assessments 1. Fully fund WKCE in FY 14 2. Implement SMARTER/Balanced and Dynamic Learning assessments in FY 15 3. Replace Science and Social Studies portions of WKCE in FY 15 4. Administer ACT Suite: EXPLORE, PLAN,ACT, & WorkKeys in FY 15

10.  Statewide School Information System (SSIS) Vendor to be selected in December, 2012 January-February, 2013 first group of schools to begin implementation Districts will have 5 years to migrate data

12.  The Developmental Pilot phase is currently underway. 94 school districts piloting the three components of the system: 1. Teacher Practice 2. Principal Practice 3. Student Learning Objectives (SLOs for teachers). To get on the SLO pilot waiting list, contact: eeteam@dpi.wi.gov
