http://nodal.ercot.com 2 Antitrust Admonition ANTITRUST ADMONITION ERCOT strictly prohibits Market Participants and their employees who are participating in ERCOT activities from using their participation in ERCOT activities as a forum for engaging in practices or communications that violate the antitrust laws. The ERCOT Board has approved guidelines for members of ERCOT Committees, Subcommittees and Working Groups to be reviewed and followed by each Market Participant attending ERCOT meetings. If you have not received a copy of these Guidelines, copies are available at the Client Relations desk. Please remember your ongoing obligation to comply with all applicable laws, including the antitrust laws. DISCLAIMER All presentations and materials submitted by Market Participants or any other Entity to ERCOT staff for this meeting are received and posted with the acknowledgement that the information will be considered public in accordance with the ERCOT Websites Content Management Operating Procedure.

QSE Qualification Call Overview: Market Trials 2010 Roadmap http://nodal.ercot.com 4

http://nodal.ercot.com 5 Day-to-day operations summary: Planned / Unplanned Outages of EDS Planned Outages –N/A Unplanned Outages –02/09/10 – 02/09/10 8:00 A.M – 9.30 A.M Service availability was interrupted on the Market Manager system as bid submission status was not being reported. –02/10/10 – 02/10/10 3:00 P.M – 3.30 P.M Service availability was interrupted on the Market Manager system as bid submission status was not being reported.

http://nodal.ercot.com 6 Environment Report: Known Issues ERCOT will post known issues every Friday to the readiness center at: http://nodal.ercot.com/readiness/markettrials/connectivity/index.ht ml http://nodal.ercot.com/readiness/markettrials/connectivity/index.ht ml Note that known issues will be posted to each functional area going forward (e.g. RTM / LFC issues will post to the RTM / LFC section of the readiness center)

Known Issues http://nodal.ercot.com New Known Issues MMS Issues Issue with the two-hour notification the SCED_TWOHR_FAIL notification The notification which checks for missing Energy Offer Curves (EOCs) and Output Schedules (OS) for online Resources contains an error such that when a COP is submitted by a different user than the one that entered the EOC/OS, a message is incorrectly issued two hours prior to the start of the Operating Hour stating that the EOC/OS is missing. As a result, QSEs may receive this notification in error for hours in which an EOC/OS actually does exist. MMS UI Issue COP cannot be submitted with ONREG status on the Market Manager. When COPs containing a Resource status of ONREG are submitted on the MMS UI, the UI is sending the ONREG status incorrectly as ON.

http://nodal.ercot.com 8 FAQ Question: Does a company representing multiple QSEs and Sub QSEs need to test each? Answer: Yes, each QSE and Sub QSE need to be testing and qualified. Question: Should an entity use different digital certificates for API entries and User Interface (UI) entries? Answer: The API certificates can be used for both environments. Digital Certificates that do not have the API checkbox selected can only be used in the UI environment.

http://nodal.ercot.com 9 Standing reports and updates: General Reminders / Updates FIP/FOP –Fuel Index Price for next week will be $5.44 –Fuel Oil Price will be $13.50 for next week As part of the 3.0 release Alerts and Notifications were implemented –Update: Many participants are receiving DSR Load telemetry missing alerts –ERCOT is working on disabling this notification as it is not working properly Reminder: Handbooks for Phase 4 will be published to the market on 2/15/2010 –ERCOT is in the final approval process –We are still on track to deliver these on 2/15/2010 –Upcoming Market Notice for date / time of the MRS 3 / Market Trials Phase 4 kick-off (yes, we’re already there!) 3/25/2010 Market notice will detail the location and webex info.

12/26/2015 http://nodal.ercot.com 15 Real Time Market / LFC Update

SCED Week 2 –SCED is behaving as expected given offer curves and telemetry in place –Great improvement in LMP’s from last week with less $2250 intervals when we run out of offer curves –Some nodal constraints were entered and prices behaved according to expectations –The dashboard is available and we will continue to work with QSE’s to fix any issues with submission problems http://nodal.ercot.com/readiness/markettrials/rtm/index.h tml http://nodal.ercot.com/readiness/markettrials/rtm/index.h tml http://nodal.ercot.com

Real Time Market / LFC Update SCED Week 1SCED Week 2 http://nodal.ercot.com Real Time Market / LFC Update The lack of offer curves was apparent with the amount of time the LMP’s were at $2250 during Week 1. During Week 2 offer curve submissions clearly demonstrate better LMP’s and hitting $2250 mainly during morning peaks.
