Christ in Ephesians 1. The Source of Our Salvation 2. The Basis for Our Unity 3. The Keeper of the Mystery 4. The Origin of Our Institutions

The Source of Our Salvation Ephesians 1:6-7 to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood.

The Basis of Our Unity Ephesians 2:16 and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.

The Keeper of the Mystery Ephesians 3:4 By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ.

The Origin of Our Institutions Ephesians 5:31-32 "Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." 32 This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.

Place in the Canon Historically, Ephesians shows us the continued struggle of the early church. Theologically, we learn more about the nature of salvation. Devotionally, we should be led to exhibit the unity which Christ purchased for us on the cross.
