7. G ENTLENESS : I am thoughtful, considerate, and calm in dealing with others. Fruit Seven

9. Philippians 4:5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.

11. S ELF C ONTROL : I have the power, through Christ, to control myself. Fruit Eight

13. Titus 2:11-13 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ

15. 1 John 2:15-16 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world.

17. H OPE : I can cope with the hardships of life and with death because of the hope I have in Christ Jesus. Fruit Nine

19. Hebrews 6:19-20 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, 20 where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf.

21. H UMILITY : I choose to esteem others above myself. Fruit Ten

23. Philippians 2:3-4 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
