Governor, spoke about his work experience in applied science research and development. Thank You Butch for your very interesting talk. UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL Vice President Elect, Lal Ramdeen chaired the meeting in President Debbie Johnson’s absence. Walt Pfeil entertained us with a joke. We will be fitting and distributing BICYCLE HELMETS to the public FREE to all ages, 3 to 90. We will also be selling a variety of plants and shrubs, donated by Joe Overby. The proceeds will be going to Kiwanis Charities. There will be a Bar-B-Q grill, serving hot dogs, hamburgers, and soft drinks, very reasonably priced for Charities THE PUBLIC IS CORDIALLY INVITED. We need volunteers to work our fundraiser event, buying the food, preparing flyers and other signage, working with Joe to get the plants to the site, and then determining and assigning the tasks for the day of the event. Please be thinking about the various details we need to consider to make this event a success! Contact person: John Bates.
