2 WHAT ARE ANGLES Angles are the space between two intersecting lines.

3 RIGHT ANGLES A right angle is when there is 90 degrees. This is a right angle:

4 ACUTE ANGLES Acute angles are when the angle is smaller than 90 degrees. An acute angle looks like this:

5 OBTUSE ANGLES An obtuse angle is when the angle is larger than 90 degrees. An obtuse angle looks like this:

6 QUICK NOTE While measuring angles you have to look at the bigger number on top of the protractor while measuring angles from the left. Use the smaller numbers on the bottom of the protractor for when you are measuring angles from the right. Left Right

7 REFLEX ANGLES Reflex angles are the angles that you have to use subtraction. How to find a reflex angle… Step 1: Put the protractor on the angle so that the bottom of the protractor comes on the bottom line of the angle and find the degree. Step 2: Subtract the degree from 360. This is what a reflex angle looks like: Bottom line
