2 Creating a Gacollege411 Account Go to www.gacollege411.orgwww.gacollege411.org Select Create Account at the top of the right side of the screen.

3 Select High School Student. Put in your date of birth.

4 What school do you attend? Click Find. Select the E at the top of the next screen. Scroll down until you see our school name. Click on Elbert Co. Comp. HS. Click on Continue and then click on Next.

5 Who are you and when will you graduate? Enter your name and your anticipated year of graduation (2019) on the next screen.

6 Email Address??? Provide your email address. If you don’t have an email address, check the box provided and you will be set up with a Gacollege411 email account.

7 Create Your Account Name Use your firstnamelastname with no caps or spaces. Click on the message to see if your username is available. If it isn’t, add your lunchnumber to your user name. Example: bonniesmith3582

8 Create Your Password Use your date of birth. You will use two digits for the month and day and the last two digits of your year of birth. Example: 010998 for a birthdate of January 9, 1998

9 Security Create a security question and answer that you will remember. Example: What is my dad’s middle name?

10 Provide your address. The next required information asks how you heard about Gacollege411. Choose School Counselor.

11 Yes or No??? Under the heading Full Access to Gacollege411 Tools, select YES or NO.

12 Almost Done!!! Check the box at the bottom agreeing to the privacy policy of the site. Click on Create Your Account. You will be transferred to the Gacollege411 home page.

15 Homecoming Explained Homecoming is a time to celebrate the school you’re attending. Homecoming usually centers around a football game. It’s an annual tradition for most American high schools (and some colleges and universities, too!) Aside from the game, homecoming activities may include parties, a formal dance with a royal court, bonfires, tailgate parties, talent shows and a parade. Students normally decorate for these events. Students also show school spirit with their clothing.

16 Student Class Dues Freshman-$5 ---payable to Mrs. Crook (E-9) Sophomore-$10—payable to Mrs. Rucker C-5 Junior-buy Prom Ticket—(Mrs. Eubanks F-2) Senior-$25—payable to Mrs. Driver (B-11) Dues are used to purchase: Homecoming decorations for hallways Parade Senior Reception (May) Graduation

17 Homecoming Parade Thursday, October 8 th @ 6:00pm Pep Rally will follow on the public square Dress Code will be enforced for people participating in the parade

18 Homecoming Game Friday, October 9 th in Granite Bowl during half time Senior Football Players’ Sponsors Class representatives Crowning of Homecoming Queen and 1 st and 2 nd runner-up Dress Code will be Enforced for sponsors and class representatives

19 Homecoming Dance Saturday, October 10 th in the Multi-Purpose Room From 8pm-11pm $5 for advance tickets - Tickets can be purchased from a student council member during lunch October 1 st –October 9 th $10 @ the door Dress code will be enforced

20 Owed Fees If you owe $50 or more you must have 50% of your balance paid off to attend Homecoming Dance If you owe $49 and less you must have your owed fees paid in order to attend homecoming dance.

21 Homecoming Dance Guests A student wishing to bring a guest who is not a current ECCHS student must meet the approval of the administration and have a “Guest Approval” document returned to Mrs. Rucker in C-5 by Friday, October 2, 2015. We will NOT accept late Guest Approval Forms. The age requirement to attend any school dances is 9th grade up to 20 years of age.

24 Dress Code for the parade AND dance Girls need to make sure that their dresses adhere to school dress code. **You will be asked to leave or fix your attire if your attire does not adhere to school dress code. Dress Code Dress will…conceal the midriff and abdomen, not expose the sides, not have a plunging neckline and conceal the bosom area, not expose the back any lower than the waist, slits in the skirt will be no higher than mid- thigh; Skirts, and Dresses: Must be within 3 inches of knee when garment is worn at natural waist
