5 More is Needed Than a “One-Time Decision” to Obey Faithfulness to God requires constant determination, decisiveness, resoluteness

6 Many Guilty of “Temporizing” "to compromise or act evasively in order to gain time, avoid argument, or postpone a decision" (American Heritage Dictionary).

7 INDECISIVENESS ENDS UP BEING THE SAME AS HOSTILITY TO GOD Our characters are the cumulative product of every "little" choice we have made. Matthew 7:24-27

8 By Our Indecision we offer an offensive, disgusting Insult to the Lord Revelation 3:15,16 “vomit you out of My mouth”

9 Failing to make a decisive choice shows us UNFIT FOR THE KINGDOM Luke 9:57-62

10 Ultimately No Middle Ground! Not to decide FOR the Lord is to decide AGAINST Him! Matthew 6:24 Romans 6:16 Luke 6:46

11 We need to “gird up our minds” 1 Peter 1:13 Luke 16:4 We need to take control of the emotional feelings that threaten to overthrow our sober decisions

12 It is Not Necessary to “Hit Bottom” before we Take Charge of Our Decisions “Prodigal son” Luke 15:17-19

13 What Decisions Are We Putting Off: Daily Bible Study & Prayer? Personal Evangelism & Edification Rectifying Wrongs & Broken Relationships Coming Back to The Lord? Obeying the Gospel?

14 Unmade Decisions Are a Ticking Time Bomb! Attitude Has to be: I MUST! I CAN! I WILL!

15 Jesus had to choose to die for our sins! Hebrews 5:8,9 Philippians 2:8

16 In Gethsemane He was Making up His Mind to go to The Cross! Luke 9:51; 12:50 John 12:27 Matthew 26:36-46

17 Jesus is only asking us to do with Him what He did for us MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION Matthew 16:24

18 Jesus will Deny Those who have not been Decisively FOR HIM Matthew 7:21-23 Hebrews 4:7
