4 Enabling Grids for E-sciencE EGEE-III INFSO-RI-222667 SSC Funding The funding model will use the standard FP7 co- funding scheme: –Direct costs: 100% except JRA, 75% (50%) –Indirect costs: 60% (20%) –Max. indirect costs: 7% for NA and SA –() = large enterprise Matching effort: –There is NO FORMAL REQUIREMENT for matching effort. –Matching effort was special scheme for EGEE-* projects. Sustainability, sustainability, sustainability! –EC expects a SUSTAINABLE funding model for the SSCs. –EC-funded effort should be SMALL part of SSC work plan. Welcome/Overview — C. 5 Enabling Grids for E-sciencE EGEE-III INFSO-RI-222667 Guidelines/Questions Funding: –~5 M€ in 1.2.1.2 and ~12 M€ in 1.2.3. Possibilities for split between 1.2.1.2, 1.2.3 –Services in 1.2.1.2 and all SSCs in 1.2.3 –Move some SSCs into “core” EGI proposal Important to understand: –For SSCs, scope and interactions –Support model, interactions, and location in projects –Common activities, work packages, synergies, … –Next steps towards SSC project preparation.
