Conf: Report p.1/2 Changes to the SC Joined: Toshiro Tango (JP) Left: Jan van de Kassteele (NL) New version of the COSC Guidelines  Was sent to SC + Lutz + Harbajan in June 2013 for review – no comments received  Was discussed further at ISCB34 in Munich – see update doc for comments  Ideas were discussed at ISCB35 in Vienna – see update doc for comments  Has not been re-issued as some time is needed to implement the comments, upload to website with links to all the attachments. 3

Conf: Report p.2/2  Future Conferences  We should have a brief discussion of each of these – any questions and suggestions:  2016 Birmingham, UK – LOC and SPC making progress  2017 Vigo, Spain: to be discussed in Utrecht  2018 Melbourne, Australia: well ahead in its planning  2019 Leuven, Belgium: excellent proposal made in Vienna  2020+ need to start collecting ideas for potential organisers and locations 4
