9.  Usually it is very hot in Louisiana. Summers are the hottest with temperatures in the 90's. Winters are not even that cold Winters in Louisiana are usually in the 60's. Even though it seems very peaceful, it's not always.

11.  Louisiana has many great features, but this one feature is not so great. This one event happened in late August 2005. HURRICANE KATRINA!! Hurricane Katrina had claimed more than 1,300 lives. It flooded the majority of the whole city. It even separated New Orleans and Lake Ponchartrain.
