5. - Tells where a place is. LOCATION (There are 2 different types of Location) ABSOLUTE LOCATION RELATIVE LOCATION

6. ABSOLUTE LOCATION - The EXACT spot on Earth where a place can be found.

9. RELATIVE LOCATION - The location of one place in relation to other places.

10. When someone asks you where you live, you tell them you live “Near Houston” rather than saying, “in Missouri City.” Believe it or not, most people just don’t know where we are!

12. Is it hot there? Are the winters bitter cold? Is it a dry climate, or does it rain a lot? What types of plants grow there? Is it a crowded city? Is it a wide open prairie? What type of government do they have there? Are there any interesting traditions in the area? PLACE

24. HEI - Human-Environment Interaction occurs because humans depend on, adapt to, and modify the world around them.
