3 What Do You Think?? 1. Explain how you think an impact crater is formed. 2. Do you think impact craters are all the same? Why or why not?

4 Review  Review and discuss with your partners the reading from last night.  Focus on vocabulary and the main ideas.

5 Station 1  Drop egg into the flour several times.  What do you notice? What do you wonder about?  What makes each time different?  Write these in your lab notebook.

6 Station 2  Drop egg into the flour one more time.  Draw the resulting crater.  Label the parts of the crater you see using the information provided.  What do you notice?  What do you wonder about?

7 Table and Flow Chart 1. With your group fill in the table. 2. When done raise your hand to get the flow chart activity. 3. Copy your final flowchart onto your worksheet. 4. Double check your table on the worksheet, does it make sense based on your flow chart? Make any corrections if needed. 5. When done hand in the worksheet. 6. Start your IV/DV brainstorming homework.
