2. Climate Climate is a cause of poverty because it limits the crops and animals that can be used in the country. Floods and drought destroy property and crops, which reduce people to poverty. How am I supposed to plant my crops during a drought?

3. War and Debt War ravages a country and destroys everything around it, this can destroy people” homes and lock others in poverty. Sometimes the country is so in debt from the money it takes to run a war that they lack the funds to repair their own country, or pay back the countries they owe

4. Corrupt Government If there is a corrupt government, the officials will spend the budget to suit their own needs and not look after their country or keep it in shape. They will not pay attention to their citizens needs, and this could put them in poverty

5. Overpopulation Overpopulation is a cause of poverty because you have too many people in one area without resources. There might not be enough job spots, vaccinations, or food to go around. Overpopulation in Africa

6. Global Warming Digression of soil and pollution of rivers causes lack of drinkable water. Global warming also sends the climate out of control, causing mud slides and other unpredictable natural phenomenon.
