2. For the CV… An international experience helps to make you stand out!! During job interviews, you will inevitably be asked questions starting: “Name a time you….” – Having an experience such as those outlined today gives much more interesting answers than resorting to group assignments does!!

4. What Do the Programs Involve? International Internships sources internship sites in the participant’s area of interest. – This can be in absolutely anything, from business to archaeology. Lots of support from within Australia, including the sponsorship of visas A heap of activities in country.

5. What Happens In Country? International Internships has a team permanently based in each of the countries. Once participants arrive in country the team will help with: – Meet at the airport – Weekend activities – Networking events – Help to ensure that everything is ready at the internship site and that all goes smoothly throughout – 24/7 support in the event of emergencies – Various other functions and events

6. Group and Individual Programs Individually tailored programs run at any time of year and last for between four and 24 weeks (4, 8, 12, 16, 20 or 24) There is an eight-week group program from 11 December 2010 until 6 February 2010. – Everyone lives in close proximity and shares a lot of activities on the weekends, but works at separate places during the weeks.

7. University Credit The completion of an internship through International Internships can often be used toward obtaining credit at university. However, this does vary from one course to the next. International Internships is happy to help interested participants look into their options.

8. Language Courses You are eligible to do an internship in any of the three countries, regardless of whether you speak the language. However, in China and Indonesia you also have the option of doing a language course prior to or during your internship.

9. Fees For an eight-week program, the fee is: – China:$3,500 – India:$3,500 – Indonesia:$2,80 Please see the website for inclusions.
