3 SDAP Overview Create standard-specific, online assessments (Classroom and Summative) Students uploaded in SDAP via Infinite Campus Item Banks (Math, ELA, Sci, SS, Health) Items aligned to CCSS (Math and ELA) Pre-made Forms (Math, ELA, and Health) Released NAEP items (Math and ELA)

4 Score Student responses Initial welcome screen when first logging into portal. Available components dependent upon user level. Scoring only available for teacher accounts.

5 Different Component Functions Allows users to perform three functions in the test creation process: item authoring, form construction, and test authoring and publishing. Allows users to organize students for testing, schedule tests, and monitor student progress. iTester 3 computer download location Houses all student testing data from tests administered via the old portal, as well as data from tests administered via the new portal. Allows users to view summary and individual student results Used to score human scored items that have been authored in the Authoring component. Once human scored items have been finalized and submitted, the scores will be available in Reporting

7 School Coordinator – Access to all components and support, except scoring – Can create and edit users and groups at school-level and below – Can create classes, view and schedule tests, view reports w/in school School User – Access to all components and support, except scoring – Can create and edit teachers and teacher groups – Can create classes, view and schedule tests, view reports w/in school Teacher – Access to all components and support, including scoring – Can create classes, view and schedule tests, view reports w/in classes – Can score human-scorable items for their own students

9 Test Types Standard Tests – Stores student responses and only taken once Allow Multiple Student Attempts – Used if you wanted to make your own benchmarks Create a single username and password for all students – Used for practice testing, no answers stored

10 Reporting SDAP 2015+ – Data from all tests administered via the new portal SDAP 2011-2014 – Data from all tests administered via the old portal Dakota Step – Data from all past and current DSTEP assessments Dakota Step-A

11 iTester 3 for Student Testing Chromebook (SDAP for Chrome) and iPad versions available in the respective app stores
