2 Language Arabs became the most wide spread language in Libya when the Migration of Hilalian-Sulaimi and the migration of Arabs to places near and in Libya.

3 Clothing Most men wear loose cotton shirts and pants covered by a cloak. Women wear robes they wear these because of their beliefs and values. People who don’t wear these cloths wear western clothes.

4 Traditions Most of the women in Libya do not have a good education and many of them do not work either.

5 Ethnic Groups Most people in Libya are followers of Islam. Arabs is the largest ethnic group.

6 Foods The Libyan foods are a mixture of Arabic, Mediterranean and Italian is a major influence. The national dish of Libya is Couscous and is made from semolina which is a type of flour.

7 Music The instruments that the Libyan Arabs play are, the Zorka( a flute made of bamboo) tambourine, oud( a fretless lute) and the Darbuka a drum held sideways and played with your fingers

9 Area Libya’s total area land and water is 1,759,540 square Kilometers Land area is 1,759,540 sq. km Water area is 0 sq. km

10 Boundaries Libya borders Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Niger, Sudan, and Tunisia Libya’s coastline is 1,770 km.

11 Natural Resources Libya’s natural resources include: oil natural gas gypsum
