2 CLASS VISION I will with confidence, strive to speak, read, write and think above my level, so that I may grow ESOL levels to exit out of ESOL. I will speak life and hope into my life and others. I believe everyone is capable of achieving excellence, and is capable of going to college. Therefore, I will act like a college student starting today. CLASS MOTTO Today I choose to overcome adversity. By working harder and respecting my peers and school. I will with confidence take Viking pride in myself and education; to achieve my goals, and become whatever I set my mind to. I KNOW the ANSWER, I am and will be the SOLUTION!

3 Standard I will be able to determine and analyze how complex characters (For example: The Beast in Beauty & the Beast ) develop over the course of a text, interact with other characters, and advance the plot or develop the theme.

4 English Through ESOL Essential Question: How do authors incorporate sensory and descriptive details in various archetypes to bring experiences? Hot Question: Why are myths created by people? Explain why. What are the effects of myths on our beliefs as a society? Why do people believe and accept these myths?

5 English through ESOL Levels 1 &2 Periods 1 & 5, 7 CEP: I will complete and provide answers to text multiple choice questions, and fill in the blank responses by using text and graphic organizers. I will know I have mastered this when I can answer text questions and short response using claim, evidence, and reasoning with 80% accuracy.

6 English through ESOL 3 & 4 Levels 3 &4 Periods 1 & 5, 7 CEP: I will complete and provide answers to text multiple choice questions, and short responses by using graphic organizers ONLY. I will know I have mastered this when I can answer text questions and short response using claim, evidence, and reasoning with 80% accuracy.
