11 Log Dynamics Lab: Living Lab for Logistics Focus: inbound/outbound logistics and data sharing throughout the supply chain Testbed for user-centric application testing in logisitc processes Research center for mobile technologies such as RFID, sensors and telematics within logistics Source: BIBA GmbH Objective: Transport and apply the idea of Mobile City Bremen to a new initiative.

12 Impacts of Living Labs in Bremen on Regional Innovation Establishment of core Living Labs competence: As of one of the pioneers in LL, Bremen belongs to the 1 st wave of Living Labs Evolvement of testbeds for new working methods and technologies in different industries Integration of complimentary industry sectors for contextual adaptation: – Logistics Intelligent and Autonomous Logistics: SFB 637 (Log Dynamics Lab) Logistics Competence Centre Transfer of knowledge from academia to companies and vice versa (exchange of employees)
