5 5 CCR SIA Project Tools & Processes They focus on teacher work. They focus on closing the gap between the standards and classroom instruction—between what students are learning and what they need to learn to meet the standards. They pertain to the real work of instructors in the classroom. They create opportunities for instructors to further study the standards with administrators as part of a learning community.

Modifying those resources so they more closely align to the level-specific demands of the CCR standards and the key advances. Creating lessons aligned to the same standards and key advances, using the lesson study process.

Learning how to observe the demands of CCR standards in classroom instruction to target challenges and areas of strength. 11 11 Winter 2015/Spring 2016 2 follow-up webinars Instructors apply what they’ve learned in their own classrooms & programs. Instructors submit and deliver at least one CCRS- aligned lesson plan. Specialists observe the two CCRS-aligned lessons. Instructors are specialists are resources within their regions.
