6 CONCOR – Profile of Business
CONCOR is in the core business of providing logistics support to EXIM & Domestic Industry in India. It co-ordinates multi-modal transportation. CONCOR specifically Designs, constructs, and operates Dry Ports (ICDs) & Domestic Terminals – currently operating 63 terminals including 48 ICDs/Dry Ports Co-ordinates pan India Containerized Rail Movements with first and last mile road bridging. Moves over 30 million tonnes of cargo by rail over an average lead of 1000 kms, cutting down CO2 emissions by over One Million tonnes per annum Apart from core business segments, CONCOR also operates Port terminals in collaboration with International Port Operators & is presently diversified into Cold Chain & Air Cargo Logistics business segments

Systems in CONCOR All the Operational and Commercial functions are computerized (ETMS/DTMS/Operations module/Container repair system) From the time a Container enters our system, either at ICD or loaded on Train at Port, it is tracked. All of our terminals are linked through a VSAT based network. ERP for Oracle Financial system/ HR Payroll

12 E-filing of Documents Enables customers to file their documents electronically from their offices Online payment through NEFT/RTGS All documents, like D.O., Forwarding note can be filed electronically PDA summary of transactions to Customers

13 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
CUSTOMS Automatic exchange of data between CONCOR and Customs at all major ICDs. Various import/export functionalities smoothened. SMTP data being captured at Ports. RAILWAYS Connectivity with FOIS system for train position updates. Data transmitted electronically from ETMS/DTMS to TMS system of IR for e-payment and RR generation.
