1 STOP AT ONE is a campaign to be launched in October 2013 by the National Osteoporosis Society to encourage anyone over 50 who has broken a bone to have a bone check and find out if they are at risk of osteoporosis. 2 STOP AT ONE: Key Messages If you are over the age of 50, have broken a bone and not been assessed by a Fracture Liaison Service / Health Professional, get a bone check: Contact the National Osteoporosis Society by phone / online for info, advice and support. nos.org.uk/stopatone or 0845 450 0230 Visit your GP to discuss your further fracture risk / bone health Osteoporosis should be picked up after the first bone break so get checked out and avoid more breaks: STOP AT ONE
