Volkswagen started when Adolf Hitler teamed up with Ferdinand Porsche to for fill his dreams of making a car for the people.
The Volkswagen KdF-Wagen or Volkswagen Beetle was made from the altered version of Porsches 1931 design.

11. Hitler
Hitler had a interest in cars even though he did not drive, he was inspired by Henry Ford.
He wished to make a car for the people.
Hitler wanted Porsche to make the Volkswagen beetle for his mother.

12. Porsche Ferdinand Porsche who help the Nazis in many ways.
One way he help them was to help Hitler with the making of the Volkswagen beetle.
Another way he help the Nazis was by designing their tanks.
Some of the tanks he help designed are Tiger I, Tiger II and the Elefant

13. Who owns Volkswagen Porsche owns 31% of Volkswagen and Porsche
Volkswagen owns:
-Volkswagen
-Audi -Bentley -Bugatti -Lamborghini -SEAT -Skoda
Not one person owns Volkswagen but several people own shears of Volkswagen.

14. 1945 Volkswagen Beetle Designed by Porsche under the orders of Hitler
The purpose for the Volkswagen beetle was to provide cheap transport for the hard working German masses

At the 2002 LA Auto Show Volkswagen launched the most powerful New Beetle for the American market yet. This sports version of the new beetle has a lot of cool safety gismos that Porsche wouldn’t have even dreamed of when he first design the beetle.

Volkswagen supplied most of the German armies vehicles.
Some of the Volkswagen cars the German army used are the Schwimmwagen which is a Amphibious All-Wheel-Drive Off-Roader and the Kubelwagen which is a no amphibious version of the Schwimmwagen

17. What the future holds for Volkswagen
Volkswagen has several concept cars and many more concepts to come
A few of Volkswagens concept cars are the electric E-up concept and the IROC which is a 2 door hatch a lot like the Scirocco
