M ODEL S TANDARD 6.1  Review and Evaluate Laws, Regulations, and Ordinances  Identify public health issues that can only be addressed through laws, regulations, or ordinances.  Have access to current federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances that protect the public’s health.  Review public health laws, regulations, and ordinances at least once every 5 years.  Have access to legal counsel for assistance in the review of laws, regulations, and ordinances.
