3 Sign-ups for March for Life and Kairos are underway. Spaces are limited. Get a form from Ms. Farrell in G15.

4 Students attending the Pitt Engineering Day this Friday received an important email from Mrs. Haslett. Please be sure to check your email and if you have any questions see or email Mrs. Haslett ASAP.

5 There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday for anyone interested in tutoring at the boys and Girls club in Shadyside. This meeting will take palce during the second session of the cCW. A representative from the club will come to talk about this opportunity for anyone who is interested in service hours or in tutoring children in K-5th grade.

6 Students planning on donating at this Wednesday's Blood Drive should make sure to eat a good breakfast, be properly hydrated and bring school ID with you to the Aux Gym. Additionally, all permission forms must have been turned in to Ms. Mosley. You are permitted to blue jeans or sweat pants (no leggings) for the donation.

7 Junior Lauren Finikiotis finished first and won the WPIAL Championship last Thursday at Slippery Rock. She finished 16 seconds ahead of her opponents. Also, Sophomore Megan Nagy finished in the top 15. Both runners will run for the state championship this coming Saturday at Hershey. Congratulations and GOOD LUCK!!!

8 The CCW schedule is posted for Wednesday. Please log in and sign up. There are some mandatory sessions and many new sessions available this week. If you have problems logging in see Mrs. Haslett. Remember you must be registered to attend a session.

10 If you would like to volunteer at Schenley Gardens Assisted Living Residence this Wednesday, see Ms. Farrell. We will leave OC at 3:00 and return by 4:30.

11 Attention all students participating in the Blood Drive next Wednesday: Your permission forms and green appointment slips are to be turned in to Ms. Mosley no later than Monday. You will be receiving your appointment time Tuesday in homeroom. Please see Ms. Mosley if you would like to sign up for the Blood Drive.

12 All GCI juniors should stop by Ms. McNulty's room to pick up a language survey. Many thanks.

Learn to row with the team or just ride the launch. Transportation to the Millvale boat house will be provided. 21 Forte 2015-16 Forte is Oakland Catholic’s annual art and literary magazine. JOA sophomore, junior, and senior students are required to submit. Theme: Around the World – Including, but not limited to: world community; global events; history; languages; iconic monuments, buildings, or art Deadline: November 25, 2015 Only quality submissions will be accepted, meaning that the submission must be of an artistic or literary nature.
