1  Get the following supplies to set up the tissue lab 14 sheets of computer paper A ruler A paper clip Blue or black ink pen; NO PENCIL!!! A petri dish

2  Title pages (5 x 4 pts) = 20 pts  Drawings (15 x 5 pts) = 75 pts  Name of tissue (15 x 3pts) = 45 pts  Location of tissue (15 x 3pts) = 45 pts  Function of tissue (15 x 3pts) = 45 pts  Each part labeled (44 x 1) = 44 pts  Drawings in color (15 x 1) = 15  Neatness = 30 pts  TOTAL = 319 POINTS

3  Must be Neat In color Have parts labeled Labels must be in straight line Labels cannot cross each other

4  Cross out w/ single line Like this  No white out!

5  Bottom right corner  No larger that 1 cm 2

6  Title (Tissue Lab)  Your first & Last name  Mrs. Glisson  Per #  (REMEMBER… NEATNESS COUNTS!!!)

8  Draw a line across the paper, dividing it into top & bottom halves  Trace a circle in the middle of the top and bottom  P. 3 – top = Simple squamous epithelium  P. 3 – bottom = Simple cuboidal epithelium  For each write “Location” & Function”

9  P. 4 – top = Simple columnar epithelium  P. 4 – bottom = Pseudostratified columnar epithelium  P. 5 – top = Stratified Squamous epithelium  P. 5 – bottom = Transitional epithelium

11  Draw line dividing top & bottom halves  Draw a circle on each half  P. 7 top = Bone  P. 7 bottom = Hyaline cartilage  P. 8 top = Fibrocartilage  P. 8 bottom = Adipose  P. 9 Blood (you can put it top or do it in middle of page)
