2 National Student Survey Your opportunity to provide feedback on your experience at GCU. This provides the University with an important understanding of how students feel, highlighting areas of strength and any areas where students feel there is scope for improvement.

3 What will the NSS ask me? Widely recognised as a key measure of satisfaction, the survey looks at a range of areas, including: The teaching on my course Assessment & feedback Academic support Organisation & management Learning resources Personal development Overall satisfaction The Students’ Association.

4 How are the results used? Your answers will be used to continue to improve the student experience at GCU and to help potential students make informed choices about where and what to study. As a result of what students have said, Department/School have made changes: Please add examples from your Department/School or delete statement

5 To take part… Ipsos MORI will send you emails inviting you to take part in the survey starting on Monday 27 th January. You can also complete the survey at www.thestudentsurvey.com. www.thestudentsurvey.com Your responses to the survey will be anonymised. Contact details will only be used for the NSS. If you complete the survey online by 28 th February you will be entered into the a prize draw and will have the chance of winning an iPad or Amazon vouchers.
