2 Conditionals If – clause If – clauseExamples If you come home early, If you come home early, If you are late, If you are late, Main clause we will go to the cinema. we will go without you. When the If – clause comes before the main clause, they are separated with a comma (,). When the If – clause comes before the main clause, they are separated with a comma (,). When the main clause comes before the if – clause, we don’t seperate them with a comma (,). When the main clause comes before the if – clause, we don’t seperate them with a comma (,). Example: If you come home early, we will go to the cinema. We will go to the cinema if you come home early.
