7. National Sales Trends: Up in Early 2012 Beer volumes for the first four months of 2012 are up 1.6%. Imported beer volumes grew by almost 3% while domestic beer volumes grew 1.5%. Specialty high end market continues to grow double digits in 2012.

8. On-premise Beer Sales On-premise retail sales are estimated to have risen over 4% as high end imports and domestic beers gained popularity with consumers. In 2011 on-premise industry volumes accounted for 20% of industry volume but generated over 50% of industry retail sales dollars.
