3 Red Ribbon Week! The Red Ribbon Campaign is now the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation. Red Ribbon Week is a way for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs. The Red Ribbon Campaign was started commemorate the death of DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena in This began the annual tradition of displaying Red Ribbons as a symbol of intolerance towards the use of drugs.

4 Celebrate Red Ribbon Week! Theme Days:
MONDAY – “Red Out” Wear Red TUESDAY “Follow Your Dreams, Don’t Do Drugs” Wear Pajamas WEDNESDAY – “Team Up Against Drugs” Wear College Team Jerseys THURSDAY – “Friends Don’t Let Friends Bully or Do Drugs” Twin Day FRIDAY – Parent Conference Day Student Free Day Theme Days:

5 THEME DRESS DAYS Theme dress days are NOT FREE DRESS DAYS! All students not participating are to be in school uniform. Students who are participating must follow the theme guidelines listed for that theme day.

6 MONDAY, October 27 – “Red Out”
Students wear Red Clothing. Majority of clothing item must be red. Non-red clothing items must comply with uniform policy.

7 “Follow Your Dreams Don’t Do Drugs”
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28 – “Follow Your Dreams Don’t Do Drugs” Students may wear pajamas to school. No see through, sheer, tank top or spaghetti strap PJs may be worn. All pajama clothing must be complete with top and bottoms, no mixing with non pajama clothing items. No Sweats or Basketball Shorts No slippers, stuffed animals, or blankets.

8 “Team Up Against Drugs”
WEDNESDAY, October 29 “Team Up Against Drugs” Students may wear their favorite college team jerseys or Lathrop sprit shirt. Uniform bottoms must be worn. No professional team jerseys allowed.

9 “Friends Don’t Let Friends Bully Or Do Drugs”
THURSDAY, October 30 – “Friends Don’t Let Friends Bully Or Do Drugs” Twin Day Students may also dress as Triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, etc. Dress like you friend also permitted. All other clothing items must comply with uniform policy.

Lunch Activities: Celebrate Red Ribbon Week! MONDAY – Pretzel Logic TUESDAY – Water Balloon Toss WEDNESDAY – Pie Eating Contest FRIDAY – Musical Chairs
