Aims & activities of the proposed Alliance To inspire the faiths to take action on sustainable agriculture as a religious responsibility Help people to grow more food more sustainably, to end hunger, reduce poverty, protect the environment and tackle climate change Share best practice & experiences Advocacy (local-national-international levels) Build partnerships and coalitions

3. What do we mean by faith-based agriculture? Rooted in the faith conviction that we have a religious responsibility to: – Care for God’s creation – Feed the poor and lift people out of poverty Focused on poor & vulnerable communities and smallholder farmers Working through faith communities Faith groups leading by example (eg, managing faith land sustainably)
