10 Help for students? ◦They can’t do this unless faculty are mentoring them, working together, give constant feedback ◦Faculty takes responsibility ◦The ones accepted at conference/symposium are reimbursed for their travel by GRAD

12 INITIATIVES A. GRAD Committee for Student Research ◦Calls for nominations/proposals, screens submissions, provides rankings, and decides on which submissions will be sent out to conference/symposium evaluation committees ◦Decides on Dean’s Medals and Outstanding Research Award
