2 The main verb must be the second idea of the sentence, although it is the second idea it doesnt necessarily mean that it is the second word. The time is the first idea of the sentence. Am is used for saying a day, Am Montag, and um is used for saying a time um halb drei.

3 Am Samstag spiele ich Tennis -On Saturday I play tennis Ich gehe um halb vier zum Tennis -I go to the tennis at 3:30 Now try to write your own!

4 T-time- a date, day etc M-manner, how you are getting there P-Place, where, destination Ich fahre am Samstag mit dem Zug nach Melbourne. Ich gehe am Montag mit dem Auto zur schule Verb, second idea

5 In a question the main verb remains as the second idea but the question word (wer, was, warum and wenn) becomes the first idea. -Wenn spielen wir Tennis? If there is no question verb (usually questions answered with Ja or Nein) the verb becomes the first idea. -Spielen wir Tennis in der morgen?

6 The verb becomes the first idea and is followed by the subject. - Geh zu Schule. -Speil Fuβball mit mir. Now try to make your own questions and commands.
