4 General club meeting the fourth Tuesday of every month to discuss upcoming events and promote fellowship amongst student colleagues Members participate in community service and fundraising events as part of their SSP commitment SSP Monthly Meetings

5 Non-profit organization that provides independent living support and services to people with disabilities. Dedicated to creating a service delivery system that empowers people with disabilities to take control of their lives, and become active and productive members of their communities. Holiday dinners and events: Halloween, Thanksgiving Voices for Independence

6 The Ophelia Project serves youth and adults who are affected by relational and other non-physical forms of aggression by providing them with a unique combination of tools, strategies and solutions. STAR Program: Work with 1 st and 2 nd graders on self-esteem, teamwork, attitude, and respect CASS Program: Creating A Safe School Anti-bullying education for students and parents GirlTalk/GuyTalk: Work with middle school and high school students on self-esteem, nutrition, exercise, positive decision making General maintenance help such as office work and filing Ophelia Project

7 Collaborative effort with Community Blood Bank of Erie, PA Held at LECOM campus every spring and fall since 2002 SSP orchestrates the donations of students, faculty, staff and community, and works in concert with the blood bank to ensure efficient collection Next blood drive: November 2 nd Bi-Annual Blood Drives

13 Walk a Mile in her shoes In association with the Blackburn Center of Greensburg, we raised money and walked to support the fight against domestic abuse EVERYONE, including the men, had to walk in heels! (some brave men pictured at right)
