3. 5 th November 1605 : Guy Fawkes night is a also known as bonfire night and firework night. This day comes every year on the 5 th November in Great Britain. This day is celebrated due to a gunpowder plot failure in exploding the House of Lords. He wanted to kill King James and the Kings Leaders. The house had a cellar which went under the parliament building. They planned to put gunpowder under the house and blow up parliament and the king. A guy hidden in the cellar (Guy Fawkes) was discovered on the morning of the 5 th November and was arrested.
