9 These sea lion pups were playing with each other. The littlest one might be a month old. The guide thought the older one was maybe 6 months to a year old – definitely was another pup on the beach, not the mother. N. Seymore Is. Galapagos 18 Jul 09

11 We saw two male Land Iguanas fighting. The males on this island have brighter yellow faces/chests. The females are browner. N. Seymore Is. Galapagos 18 Jul 09

12 The guy on the upper right was heavier and eventually ran off the other guy, with no physical contact N. Seymore Is. Galapagos 18 Jul 09

13 Marine Iguana are brownish-black. The Galapagos is the only place where iguanas go in the water. Instead of round tails, their tails are blade-shaped to act like fins. This picture is on a cliff edge 20 feet above the water. They are great climbers. N. Seymore Is. Galapagos 18 Jul 09

14 Swallow-tailed gulls have the sharp V shaped tail, just like barn swallows in the US. N. Seymore Is. Galapagos 18 Jul 09
