3  Risk of pregnancy among teens in Oceana County r/t high rates of binge drinking, poverty, lack of education, and a high rate of uninsured individuals.  Binge drinking: 19.4% - 17.1%  Poverty: 29.3% - 22.4%  HS Education: 83% - 88.4%  Uninsured: 17.6% - 15.1%

10 Sex Education Classes  Questionnaire: includes sex, age, ethnic background, how long they have been having sex, and if they use contraception.  Each year after sex education class is complete calculate the number of teen pregnancies in Oceana school district. Reaching Out  Check-up appointment 3 months afterwards: includes questions on the use of drugs/alcohol, if safe sex practices are performed, and if birth control is being used effectively.  After 3 months the answers should be related to knowledge about the consequences of alcohol/drug use, and positive feedback on safe sex practices and the use of birth control.
