Amen April 6 - Kiwanis One Day, 11am – 2pm, Beaches Museum & History Park, 381 Beach Blvd, Jax Beach April 12 – Parent/Scholar Recognition Breakfast, 8am, Community Presbyterian Church in Neptune Beach. Volunteers needed. Butch & Bev Shadwell 4/6 On Saturday, April 6, 2013, Kiwanis clubs around the world will make a positive impact. Think your presence won’t make a difference? Think again. In fact, think of the impact your club can have on your community. Join us for Kiwanis One Day and learn about Kiwanis and the impact it is having on your children. Kiwanis Club of Jacksonville Beaches cordially invites members of its Kiwanis Youth Clubs (K Kids, Builders Club, and Key Club) and their families to enjoy a free lunch and to learn more about Kiwanis. It will be held at Beaches Museum and History Park, 381 Beach Blvd, Jax Beach at 11am to 2pm. The free lunch includes hot dogs, chips, beverages and dessert. There is free parking in designated lots. DON’T MISS KIWANIS ONE DAY! We ask that all Beaches Club members attend, and put in time as good hosts. Presentation by our own Bill Montgomery! Bill will tell us highlights of his recent travels to the other side of the world to Guam & Iwo Jima, and share his memories of his service as a Marine 68 years ago. He will bring along some photos taken while he was there. Alison Cacella & Nancy Adams will be sworn in as our newest members. We will also have a guest fellow Kiwanian who has moved recently to Atlantic Beach from California! TODAY’S MEETING We need to continue to have volunteers sign up for duties and supplies for the Kiwanis One Day event to be held Saturday, April 6 th. Members and friends of Kiwanis are invited to help out, and make this a wonderful celebration for Kids of Kiwanis.
