17 The census will retain its dominant position as the main source of information about the population; There are serious challenges: financial issues, changing the population mentality, the need to reduce the respondents burden, the growing information needs and information technology development; Countries are moving away from the traditional model of the "pure" census, focusing on getting information from different sources; CONCLUSIONS
