5 1. QAA/NES STANDARDS Known as the Practice Placement Standards. Identified Responsibilities of: Student Mentor Service Provider/Trust

6 2. CPPSU A support structure developed by Dundee University To give information, guidance and support to students and mentors. Information on placement profiles.

7 3. PRACTICE EDUCATION FACILITATORS To promote QAA Standards Oversee and guide implementation of standards. Give support to: Mentors Students

8 Facilitators Continued: To enhance and develop the mentor role and responsibilities. To help to develop the learning environment within practice placements to enhance the students learning opportunities.

9 Facilitators Continued: Communication – provide links between: Nes/Scottish Executive Trust Managers Mentors Students Link Lecturers University
