Overview l Campaign in progress against commingled collection as EU Regulations state materials must be collected separately l Judicial review decision was due in June but has been delayed at the request of DEFRA l Unlikely commingled collections will cease as huge investment has been made in the infrastructure

4. Overview l In May UK Government announced changes to the Packaging Waste Regulations for glass l From 2013 no more than 650,000 tonnes per year will be allowed to go for non-remelt uses l Differential PRN prices will exist for remelt and non-remelt uses
